Stephen Pate Construction made a miserable experience with water damage a fantastic experience. They are tops when it comes to quality, reasonable work. They coordinated everything from the new roof to the unexpected mold they found in the kitchen, new dining room, hall, and bathroom flooring, paint, kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and granite counter tops. They gave me the choice of different products at different price levels. I had wanted a new kitchen—not exactly how I would have chosen to get it, but I am so happy with the finished job!!! Stephen was one of three well-recommended renovation specialists. Gobble Fite assured us Stephen would definitely do a good job for us.

The project consisted of replacing two windows, replacing a dining room window with a sliding glass door, and providing power to a patio cover ceiling for a fan/light. Inflicting minimal damage to the interior plaster and our somewhat rare exterior cedar shingles was going to be tricky.

Stephen came to the house, checked the existing conditions, and looked over the new window and door products very carefully. We agreed on a fixed price, and work started within a couple of days.

He brought a crew of several men to the job and they completed the work in one day, with a very minor amount of exterior touch up the next morning. They even helped solve a small electrical glitch that was not in the project. They were courteous, enthusiastic, and professional. Considering that they were working with existing conditions, the finished product was very impressive, leaving just the interior paint work we agreed I would do myself.

Bottom line: We could not be more pleased, we can highly recommend him, and we are looking forward to our next project with Stephen Pate Construction.

This is just a quick note to thank you and your crews for the incredible work done to replace my carport after the April storm.  I could not have asked for a better job and it looks like it has always been there.  With these old houses, that is what counts.  I especially wanted to thank the guys that did the brick work on my front column; it’s a nearly perfect match to the other one (except maybe far better!).

Even my neighbor next door said she wanted to thank the crews for being so nice to her .

When I need more work done, you guys will be at the top of my list.
